The total number of contact hours is either 149 or 150 hours.
Teaching Mode:
Teaching materials will be in English. Lectures and tutorials will be conducted mainly in Cantonese supplemented by English.

Aim & Objectives:
The Foundation / Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management has been designed to provide a broad introduction to working in the hospitality, travel and tourism industry and related ancillary service industries. It is designed to provide those preparing to enter the industry, or those already working in hotel, travel and tourism, with a critical awareness of the physical, social and economic environments in which travel and tourism takes place. The diploma enables individuals to investigate global, regional and local perspectives on travel and tourism and to enhance their skills and knowledge with the study of specialized optional subjects.
Award & Assessment:
Attendance: A minimum attendance of 85% per module is required.
Upon completion of all two modules successfully, students will receive a Foundation in Hospitality and Tourism Management plus Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Penasia School of Continuing Education.
